One of my (many) favorite things about Kent’s classes is that he lets me dance with my own boyfriend. So many ballroom dance classes split you up from the person you came with, which is usually awkward, sometimes creepy and doesn’t let you build a dance rapport with your partner. In those classes, I never feel like I’m learning the dance very well because I feel uncomfortable and there’s no consistency with how the other person moves. Kent doesn’t split you up. In Kent’s class, I get to not only build a dance repertoire from week to week with my boyfriend, but we always leave feeling super-connected to each other. I feel like I’ve gotten to know my boyfriend a lot better through dancing, plus it’s a lot of fun.

Kent-I did have fun. A lot of it. I haven't really danced with a "good" lead for a long time. I like not thinking, closing my eyes in one place, being brought to another place unawares. You are a great dancer. Thank you for leading me around.....making me look pretty....we hope. :-p

Hey Kent, We had a wonderful time at our lesson. I am looking forward to the next one. You were made for the arts. You are so light on your feet and had such a beautiful touch when you strummed the guitar.

You are a wonderful teacher. My husband and I want to keep it up. We will show our kids tonight what we learned and show them that we are still on fire for each other. I had fun dancing the Tango!

Many thanks for the excellent instruction and inspiration in tango class at Cameron, and also for the CD you so generously gave us at the end of class. We have already practiced for several hours to all of the gorgeous tunes on there. I feel as though a whole new world has opened up and am determined to get good enough to dance in Buenos Aires! You have a gift and we look forward to more on Wed!!
